That was back in 1986, when Toni and her then husband sold their plane tickets and decided to make the islands their permanent home. With her friendly warmth and great people skills, this go-getter secured a marketing position with the Maui Marriott Resort. She was later named marketing coordinator of the year in that role and extended her expertise to include the mortgage and timeshare industry. Toni’s business and marketing savvy still plays a large part in her entrepreneurial role as co-owner of the Lahaina Inn, a 12-room boutique hotel in the heart of Lahaina Town.
